For athletes this is an opportunity to pay a tribute to the memory of the person who greatly supported development of our sport. In addition, it is a chance to show physical qualities and to compete for valuable prizes. This year, the event will be attended by Olympic champions. I am sure that not only from professional wrestlers will be interested in meeting them, while it is not every day that one gets such an opportunity. We invite all Ulyanovsk residents and guests of the region to visit this amazing event”, – commented Igor Steklov, the Chairman of the Russian Wrestling Federation.

According to the International Class Master of Sports in Greco-Roman (classical) wrestling Nazir Shamsutdinov, such meetings give additional motivation to Ulyanovsk residents who lead a healthy lifestyle. “This tournament is a good example how we can promote physical fitness and sport. I hope that our guests will find some time to carry out a master-class with Ulyanovsk children”, – Nazir Shamsutdinov said.
