Sergey Morozov is currently on a working visit to the Republic of Turkey

The delegation includes Dmitry Bogdanov (First Deputy Prime Minister of the Ulyanovsk region), Sergey Vasin (head of the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation) and Oleg Barabanov (Director General of PSEZ "Ulyanovsk").

 


Within the business visit to Turkey, the delegation held a meeting with the management of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) on 10 May. This respectable organization of national associations of exporters and investors can be found in all cities of Turkey and brings together more than 70 thousand members working in almost all spheres of economy. During the meeting, the delegation presented investment potential of the Ulyanovsk region. The parties have agreed to continue cooperation and have outlined the future joint action plan.

“In the nearest future, we will sign a memorandum to develop relations with this organization. We have invited Turkish businesspeople to visit the Ulyanovsk region. We are interested in implementation of joint projects in such spheres as agriculture, medicine and health care, and alternative energy sources; as the leading region, we pay great attention to them. Another promising sphere is production and processing of milk, as well baby food and equipment for the food industry. We have been successfully working with Turkish business for quite some time now; there are already several enterprises in the Ulyanovsk region, so we intend to develop these relations”, – Sergey Morozov said.

In addition, a meeting with representatives of the company, which specializes in construction of social infrastructure facilities, took place on 10 May. The company works on three continents, in more than 30 countries. It implements major projects in the sphere of medicine in Europe, Asia and Russia. The parties discussed construction of medical and rehabilitation centers, modern hotels, and projects that can be put into practice in the territory of the Ulyanovsk region within the public-private partnership.
