The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Youth, the All-China Federation of Youth, and the Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development will act as the organizers of the Russian-Chinese Student's Business Incubator project in 2018. ULSU represents the region as a partner of the event. According to the First Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Uba, it is the second time when the Ulyanovsk region takes part in this project.
“One of the incubator's main goals is training of young people in creation and development of joint business in the territory of both countries. In addition, each startupper will have the opportunity to submit their projects to heads of large organizations and companies and to get support in implementation of their ideas. Last year we also achieved good results in this sphere. During the work of the business incubator in 2017, eleven agreements were signed between both business owners and organizations. I want to remind that in order to become a resident of the business incubator, it was necessary to register your project on the website of the Russian Union of Youth and to take part in the competitive selection. Today we can see that we have received about one hundred projects”, - Ekaterina Uba said.
This year, the program of the forum includes work with regional and federal experts, business and public authorities, as well as visits to enterprises and trips to districts. A meeting with the business community of the region and a presentation of projects by Chinese residents of the project will take place in the building of the regional business incubator on 24 July. Ulyanovsk businesspeople will be able to have a look at developments of foreign colleagues and to discuss possible cooperation. In the following days, the delegation from China is going to visit Ulyanovsk small and medium-sized enterprises. The list includes Zelenaya Ulitsa, Grinhihill in Terengulsky District, Harmony (manufacturer of doors), Simbirskiy Istochnik, and others. The delegation will also visit the ULNANOTECH Nanocenter and the EFES plant. In addition, during the business incubator the Ulyanovsk businesspeople will be learn about the legal framework of doing business in China, how to come to the market of the People's Republic of China and how to attract investments into the business project.
