Sergey Morozov has instructed to prepare a comprehensive development programme for Dimitrovgrad industrial park "Master"
On 8 November, the head of the region examined the industrial platform and personally checked the progress of modernization.
“We worked a lot to ensure that Dimitrovgrad would receive the status of the territory of advanced social and economic development. It is important to understand it includes not only tax benefits and preferences. The main goal is to achieve diversification of economy. We need to stop depending on the automotive industry to create as many new allied industries as possible. This will also create jobs for Dimitrovgrad residents and improve the gross regional product of the Ulyanovsk region. In the nearest future, major investment projects will be implemented at the automotive components plant. This also includes DIP "Master”, - Sergey Morozov said.
The Governor instructed to prepare a comprehensive development programme for the industrial park for the next three years.
“We are planning to prepare about 150 thousand square meters of production facilities and offices in the territory of DIP "Master" and to place more than 50 residents. We have already signed contracts with two companies. These are residents of territory of advanced social and economic development: OOO "Prizma" and OOO "Torsion-D". Today we have completed the shell, core and utilities: repaired the roof and roof lights, renovated front glazing, and started up the heating system. Now we are working on the interior set-up. This year we will get 10 thousand square meters of production space ready for operation”, - reported Marcel Nurlygayanov, Director General of DIP "Master".
According to Alexander Smekalin, Prime Minister of the Ulyanovsk region, the project of the Dimitrovgrad industrial park "Master" received support from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
“Within the next two years, 500 million rubles from federal funds will be allocated for implementation of the project's second stage. In turn, we provide co-financing of this programme and ensure participation of the region. I am talking about 100 million rubles. We also fulfill our obligations to provide utility systems and transportation lines. This task includes additional 70 million rubles. Within the next two years, we will update 20 thousand square meters more. Today both Russian companies and the ones from Austria, Sweden and other countries are interested in this venue, which is a good way to increase the number of hi-tech jobs with a good salary”, - Alexander Smekalin explained.
Federal support will be provided for development of the industrial park within the National project "Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support of the Individual Business Initiative".
According to Rustem Davlyatshin, Minister of Competition and Economy Development of Ulyanovsk region, within the national project 250 million rubles will be used for reconstruction of production facilities in 2019 and another 250 million rubles - in 2020.
“The project's business plan includes reconstruction of four buildings and preparation of the venues for accommodation of residents within the next two years. These are small and medium-sized enterprises of various scopes and sector orientation”, - Rustem Davlyatshin said.
The regional Government will pay particular attention to improvement of the territory adjacent to Dimitrovgrad Auto Modular Plant. It is planned to create parking space to part heavy cargo and car traffic. Avtostroiteley St. and Zapadnaya St., as well as Dubovaya roshcha (Oak grove), will be improved.
