Vladimir Gutenev has met Ulyanovsk semifinalists of Leaders of Russia
The State Duma Deputy discussed implementation of new projects with young managers at the Leadership and Development discussion platform on 26 February. United Russia’s Candidates to the Youth Parliament of the Ulyanovsk region also participated in the meeting.
During the event, the parties discussed new legislative initiatives, implementation of projects, participation in federal competitions and garnet programmes, issues and aspects of social business development, and the programme for youth development.
According to Vladimir Gutenev, every young person must have a unique career path; this requires special competences, knowledge, education and competent mentors. To avoid losing the most talented youth, it is necessary to attract them.
“Young people from Ulyanovsk are really good boys and girls, patriots of their small Homeland; and, at the same time, free broadminded people. This was once again proved at the youth forum "Engineers of the Future", which was held last summer. Both participants and volunteers – residents of the Ulyanovsk region — helped to make the forum bright, festive and unforgettable. The region has wonderful youth. I am sure that many of them will have great career biographies”, - the Deputy emphasized.
Vladimir Gutenev also noted that the Ulyanovsk region carries out good work with young people. For example, one can mention regional analogs of Leaders of Russia. "The combination of federal programmes and regional initiatives is a necessary element for successful development of any territory. The Ulyanovsk region implements these initiatives to the full extent", - he said.
The semi-final of the competition "Leaders of Russia" ended on 3 February. Alexey Kuznetsov, an Ulyanovsk resident and AB InBev Efes manager of regional programmes and projects for sustainable development, was among the finalists in the Volga Federal District. The last round of the competition will take place in Sochi from 13 to 17 March.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin set a specific task. Young, ambitious, promising and talented people who have leadership skills and management expertise are the main part of the Russian talent pool. The policy aimed at rotation and rejuvenation of the workforce has given an impulse to creating the country’s new administrative elite. These are new opportunities for personal fulfillment and promotion. From my point of view, it is of particular importance that as the winner you will be able to do your best not only for yourself but also for the whole country,” - emphasized Igor Komarov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District.
In addition, a human resources programme "Regional Leaders" has been implemented in the territory of the Ulyanovsk region for the second year in a row. It was initiated by the Governor Sergey Morozov in a similar way to the federal competition.
