Representatives of Four Foreign Countries to Participate in IX International Plein-Air "World at the Tip of a Brush" in Ulyanovsk Region

It will take place from 9 to 19 September in Prislonikha, a village in Karsunsky District. This event is part of the programme of IX International Assembly of Artists “Plastovskaya Osen”.


“The International Plein-Air "World at the Tip of a Brush" became the winner of the Presidential Grant Programme for the first time in 2019. Master classes and creative meetings with artists and people from Arkady Plastov's paintings will be held with the use of received funds worth about 400 thousand rubles. Thirteen artists from Armenia, Donetsk, Kazakhstan, as well as Chuvashia, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, St. Petersburg and Ulyanovsk, will participate in the event. The plein-air will promote implementation of the Creative People sphere within the national project "Culture" initiated by President Vladimir Putin,”- said Evgenia Sidorova, Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of Ulyanovsk Region.

Guests of honor will include Nikolay Andreev (Honored Artist of Chuvashia), Oleg Kulpin (Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan), Vera Frolova (graduate of Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts, member of the Artists Trade Union of Russia, winner of the all-Russian contest "Young Talents of Russia", winner of the republican art competition, winner of the Sh.Babich State Republican Youth Award), Toleugazy Bajgaliev (member of the European Design Association, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan), and Victor Uglach (member of the Ulyanovsk regional branch of the Artists Trade Union of Russia).

Works created at the IX International Plein-Air "World at the Tip of a Brush" will be presented at the exhibition "World at the Tip of a Brush" in the History and Art Museum-Reserve "Prislonikha - the Homeland of A.A. Plastov" in Prislonikha on 19 September.
