Governor Sergey Morozov visited Dimitrovgrad Valve Plant and Plant of Chemical Engineering (Dimitrovgradhimmash) on 16 December to award their employees according to results of the year.

The head of the region noted, “President Vladimir Putin noted that all enterprises regardless of their forms of ownership should pay attention to three main tasks, which are to improve the quality of products, to increase productivity and salaries, and to ensure work safety. Today we visited two large and important enterprises that effectively carry out these tasks. This year Dimitrovgrad Valve Plant received the Russian Government Quality Award. The enterprise is increasing its output; the management pays particular attention to labor rights of employees and their wages. Dimitrovgradhimmash is also improving its overall production. The plant is ahead of its target, which positively affects employees' income.”

Dimitrovgrad Valve Plant received the Russian Government Quality Award according to the resolution of 21 November, 2019. This award is given out annually based on results of the competition for significant achievements in the quality and safety of products and services, as well as introduction of highly efficient methods of quality management. In 2018, the plant became a diploma winner.

According to Mikhail Voronov, Director of Dimitrovgrad Valve Plant, the enterprise receives not only the award but also independent experts' opinion regarding its production system, strengths and weaknesses. He also said, “Any system should be constantly upgraded to improve the quality of products. Currently, we are working on diversification of production; we are expanding component spectrum that we can manufacture using our equipment.”

The head of the region has also inspected new facilities of Dimitrovgradhimmash that are currently under construction.

“We have good output levels, first of all, thanks to work of our employees. Now we set ourselves new tasks to increase the overall production. The plant develops new types of goods, builds new production areas, and purchases modern equipment,”- commented Sergey Mikhailin, Director General of the plant.

During the visit to the enterprises, Sergey Morozov awarded their employees with letters of appreciation and an honorary diploma for development of the industry, professional achievements, high professionalism and many years of good work.

In 2020, the Ulyanovsk region will start early implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity and Employment Support", which was initiated by President Vladimir Putin.
