Seven New Heat Sources to Be Built in Next Three Years in Ulyanovsk Region

The region continues implementation of the programme for upgrade of the heat supply system at the initiative of Governor Sergey Morozov.


According to Alexander Cherepan, Minister of Energy, Public Utilities and Urban Environment of the Ulyanovsk region, new boiler stations will be installed in workers' settlements Tsilna and Bolshoe Nagatkino of Tsilninsky District, Mirniy village of Cherdaklinsky District, and Staraya Mayna. About 140 million rubles are to be used for these purposes. The work will done by specialists of OGCP “Corporation for Public Utilities Development”.

Currently, teams of the state-owned enterprise are installing utility infrastructure for two new heat sources in Novoulyanovsk with the total capacity of 50 MW. Sergey Noskov, Director of the Corporation for Public Utilities Development, explained that these facilities were installed at the end of 2019. This year, they have been connected to the heat and water supply networks. New boiler stations should also receive access to gas supply networks. Pre-commissioning activities will be carried out at the heat sources this spring. The facilities will be fully effective during the new heating season.

In 2019, specialists of the Corporation for Public Utilities Development of Ulyanovsk Region installed and put into operation block heating stations in Novosyolky (Melekesky District) and Oktyabrsky (Cherdaklinsky District) villages, as well as heat sources for the central district hospital in Staraya Mayna and for the school under construction in Ishevka (Ulyanovsky District).
