Today training of a competitive workforce is becoming one of the main tasks for the region. We need to increase the level of education, to master new skills, to create all necessary conditions for scientific and technical creativity. It is encouraging that students of the children's technopark "Kvantorium" became finalists of such a contest,” - said Vladimir Pavlov, Digital and Technology Development Advisor to Governor of Ulyanovsk Region.
The final of the academic contest for schoolchildren was organized online. The academic contest took place in three stages. According to the participants, their set of tasks was difficult but also very interesting. They were to study a significant amount of material, including the one in English. Yuliya Novosyolova commented, “We needed to select several species of mammals for biological programmes based on an experimental colony located on Mars. Their main purpose is to develop methods for building an ecosystem. The choice had to be explained considering the economic and physiological perspective.”
The winners received valuable prizes from partners of the competitions; they will have access to special lessons in the online school, as well as lectures by international experts. Children will be invited to Skolkovo as soon as the epidemiological situation becomes stable.
