Ulyanovsk Region Starts Online Educational Project of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

The training program for representatives of municipalities is implemented as part of cooperation between the region and the German Energy Agency (DENA).

Governor Sergey Morozov and Managing Director of DENA Kristina Haverkamp signed the Memorandum of cooperation between the regional Government and the expert center at the International Forum "Russian Energy Week Forum" on 2 October, 2019. The document includes educational and research programmes on efficient energy use, introduction of digital technologies and extensive use of the best energy conservation practices. One of the focus areas involves helping the Ulyanovsk region with organization of training sessions for subject-matter specialists. Some of such courses start this summer. After the pre-selection, representatives of the Ulyanovsk region's municipalities will be able to take part in the online educational project "Energy Management System. A Practical Course", which is being implemented by the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and the German Energy Agency.

According to Alexander Cherepan, Minister of Energy, Public Utilities and Urban Environment, the programme consists of five modules and will last until December, 2020. Each module includes lectures, webinars and independent studying, as well as preparation of documents and practical training to exchange experience in energy management.
