Local Manufacturers to Present Their Products at Made in Ulyanovsk Region – EXPO
The event will take place in the region on 16-17 October as part of the national project "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and Support for Individual Entrepreneurs".
Everyone interested can take part in the exhibition-forum to examine and taste the goods or to discuss future cooperation. It is expected that businesspeople from a range of fields will present their products: representatives of the food and processing industries, manufacturers of furniture, doors, automotive components and clothes, Ulyanovsk farmers and service-providing entrepreneurs.
“Made in Ulyanovsk Region is a traditional high-profile forum with cooperation as its main objective. It is also an important component of the national project "Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and Support for Individual Entrepreneurs". Not only can regional manufacturers demonstrate their products to a potential buyer, but they also get an excellent opportunity to find future partners during this event, as well as discuss shipping ins and outs with major regional, all-Russian and international customers. The forum helps to promote locally produced goods. Governor Sergey Morozov pays particular attention to this topic,” - said Ruslan Gainetdinov, Chairman of the Board of Ulyanovsk Region Entrepreneurship Development Corporation.
In 2019, more than 1,500 people took part in the exhibition-forum and 150 companies expanded their market outlets. It was possible to develop cooperation with customers from Bahrain, Latvia and the Czech Republic. Ulyanovsk entrepreneurs signed contracts with them to supply products worth about 1,000,000 USD. By the end of the event, agreements concluded between small businesses, large enterprises and investment companies totaled more than 120 million rubles, while delivery contracts for retail chains amounted to 70 million rubles.
