Ulyanovsk Region Discusses Development Priorities for Financial Market

Aleksey Russkikh held a business meeting with representatives of the financial sector during which he instructed to ensure public discussion of issues connected with development of this sphere in the region.


“We must find out what credit and financial instruments will help us deal with consequences of the pandemic and address the tasks set by President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to achieve national goals and to improve living standards. Currently, Government of Ulyanovsk Region successfully interacts with financial organizations of the region when it comes to development and support of business entities, and this cooperation must be enhanced,” said the head of the region.

Credit institutions of the Ulyanovsk region support its agro-industrial complex. As part of the project "Developing housing construction in rural areas and improving amenities", two hundred and eighty-four applications worth 406 million rubles were approved in the first half of 2021.

To improve financial literacy of the population, the region was one of the first in the country to start working actively with credit and insurance institutions.
