Organizations and production sites that were the first to bear the brunt of anti-Russian policy are returning to work. Even though a number of foreign companies have left the region, the situation in the Ulyanovsk region's real economy is under control. The industrial production index of the region still exceeds the nationwide indicators.”
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of Ulyanovsk Region, in the first quarter of 2022nthe industrial production index reached 111.3% compared to January-March 2021, which is higher than the relevant average indicator in Russia (105.9%).
