"We were one of the first in the country to start work to create an innovative education system. The project "School in Technocampus" plays the key role here. This work is carried out in partnership with the leading Russian and international experts. We expect that cooperation with the World Bank, which is one of the largest consulting agencies, will allow to make the most of the best practices. Now we can observe mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of educational regional projects. Our specialists will have the opportunity to attend training seminars of the World Bank's experts and our partners will become frequent guests of the Ulyanovsk region", - Sergey Morozov noted.
According to project developers, collaboration with the World Bank will help to attract experts of the organization and to exchange the best practices. In addition, specialists from the Ulyanovsk region will be able to participate in training workshops and study international experience.
"The World Bank is the partner that is capable to share the best world practices with the region. At the current stage, it is important to study experience of successful projects, including the ones in the sphere of education. In the future, through the World Bank we will be able to invite experts to participate in development of the educational segment of the Technocampus 2.0 project", - said Vadim Pavlov, the head of the Agency for Technological Development of the Ulyanovsk region.
The project "School in Technocampus" will be based on such key principles as individual educational trajectory for each pupil, cross-disciplinary and project approach. "The perfect outcome is that a pupil, who will study at school and then graduate from it, will have resource thinking. It means that he or she will take the surrounding world as a resource to achieve their purposes. Taking into account that technology entrepreneurship is one of the development vectors of the school, the pupil should also possess a technological outlook and be able to make a move when necessary. The pupil should understand that the world is flexible and that thanks to his efforts it will change", - Vadim Pavlov added. He also emphasized that the important principle of the educational programme will be integration of school with higher education institutions and the system of additional education, including children and university technoparks. According to the Minister of Education and Science of the Ulyanovsk region Raisa Zagidullina, it is planned to sign an agreement with the World Bank for this purpose. "I think that this joint project will help to secure leadership of the Ulyanovsk region in the sphere of additional education development. A great database has been created in this field in the region over the past years. The agreement will allow us to implement such projects as the "recommendatory" educational standard of additional preschool education for children of GEF type, as well as to create a professional standard of teachers working in the field of additional education and a regional system of performance indicators of this system's activities", - the Minister said.
