Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Ingushetia concluded a cooperation agreement in the sphere of culture and economy
The document was signed within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by the Governor of the region Sergey Morozov and the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia Yunus-Beck Evkurov.
“Good relations between the heads of the regions have their affect on people. I am happy to see that our community, which lives in the Ulyanovsk region, feels comfortable there. The national policy is almost perfect. We think that the agreement will beneficial for our side in respect of economic development. I took part in the opening ceremony of the Japanese plant on production of Bridgestone tires in the Ulyanovsk region. Now we consider opportunities to build a branch plant in the republic” - said the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia.
Sergey Morozov talked about prospects of cooperation between regions. “I am glad to see that Ulyanovsk business has developed so much today that it is ready to work beyond the region. And Ingushetia is a very prospective site for further development. We have interesting interregional projects connected with textile and clothing industry. The Republic of Ingushetia has traditionally been engaged in this type of business. That is why we will offer those investors who will come to our region to look into possibilities of opening the same productions in the territory of the Republic”, - Sergey Morozov noted.
In addition, the parties discussed carrying out Culture Days of Ingushetia in the Ulyanovsk region in 2017. The Ulyanovsk region is also interested in achievements of the Republic of Ingushetia in the field of tourist industry development. It is planned to establish cooperation between relevant organizations of the regions to share experience in this sphere.
