“Graduates of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute are great replacement for the current generations of pilots. This industry has always been the real hallmark of our region. We are doing our best to create all necessary conditions so that it would be interesting to study and work here. And the institute is often praised at the federal level for training of the best specialists”, - said Sergey Morozov during the event.

In addition, during the ceremony four graduates of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute were awarded with distinctive emblems of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation "For excellence in study".
According to the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Sergey Aristov, this federal award proves that the receiver is an excellent student. “For today, about 50 thousand students have graduated from transport higher education establishments of the country. Only 169 of them received a diploma with distinction. Among these students were four residents of Ulyanovsk who not only were excellent students but also actively participated in various events. The transport industry is famous for the deep-rooted traditions. The Ulyanovsk region is the jewel of pilots' training”, - Sergey Aristov said.
In addition, six gratitudes of the Ulyanovsk institute were awarded on behalf of the head of Federal Air Transport Agency for outstanding performance and successful participation in scientific research and significant cultural and public events. In total, about 500 people graduated from the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute named after the Chief Marshal B.P. Bugaev in 2017. Among them, more than 100 received diplomas with distinction. The establishment traditionally provides education for such professions as an engineer rescuer, a pilot, and aviation security support.
“Our graduates are in high demand. We have developed good partnership with Gazpromneft-Aero and Aeroflot. In addition, we are proud of the experiment on training of specialists for the Airbus aircraft that we have launched recently. Forty graduates of our institute received certificates and I am absolutely sure that they will find a job”, - commented Sergey Krasnov, the Rector of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute.
“The Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute is one of key parts in the training chain for aviation branch. Remarkably, the establishment addresses this issue by contributing to education of preschool children. In 2016, the Institute signed a unique agreement with kindergarten No. 221. Experts of the institution introduce children to the features of construction and operation of the plane”, - noted Natalya Semyonova, the Minister of Education and Science of the Ulyanovsk region.
In addition, graduates of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute received lieutenant shoulder straps during the event. We would like to remind that a military department was established in this institute more than 20 years ago. Over these years, more than 2000 officers, sergeants and reserve-soldiers graduated from it. Now, the Ulyanovsk institute is the only one in Russia where training of military registration specialties is carried out.
"The institute provided me with great opportunities and helped to find employment. For example, a meeting with the potential employer was carried out last February. I will undertake a traineeship at this enterprise. I have also received lieutenant shoulder straps and it was very significant to me. I am planning to work in the aircraft industry and to become a flight operations officer", - commented Dmitry Grishin, a graduate of the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Institute.
