Made in Ulyanovsk Region–EXPO to take place in the Volga-Sport-Arena on 19 April

On this day, inhabitants of the region traditionally visit the exposition where they will be able to taste and buy products made by local businesspeople.

According to organizers, the exhibition will become the largest since the creation of the forum, which has been carried out in the region since 2015.

For representatives of SMEs (small and medium entrepreneurship) will have the opportunity to visit venues for business cooperation (contract exchanges and shopping sessions) and the ones for international cooperation, development of export and business education.

“Today we have created one of the country's most effective systems for support of business in the region, which really helps businesses expand productions and discover new export opportunities. These include both financial tools and informational and educational support. Such forums also contribute to the development of SMEs. For example, during the forum carried out in 2017 our businesspeople signed contracts with Russian companies (worth more than 110 million rubles) and with foreign ones (worth 2.5 million dollars)”, - the Governor Sergey Morozov noted.

According to Ruslan Gaynetdinov, the Chairman of the Board of the Corporation for Enterprise Development, the main idea of the forum is again strengthening of cooperation between small business, large companies and investors, as well as creation of production chains; and since last year, international trade has become the third main theme. “Representatives of Georgia, Armenia, China, and Iran participated in the forum in 2017. This year, we expect people from India, China, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh and a big delegation from Kyrgyzstan. The forum annually demonstrates its practical benefits for business. This year, the forum promises to be even better. We are planning to reformat work of some venues to make them more convenient for interaction between businesses and to increase its efficiency”, - the head of Corporation said.
