Working group for execution of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the country's national goals and strategic development tasks has been created in the Ulyanovsk region

The Governor Sergey Morozov has ordered to develop strategic plans for implementation of the measures specified in the Message of the President.


According to the head of the region, the working group will prepare proposals and plans for the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as regional and municipal authorities, so that the tasks set in the document could be completed within the specified time limits.

"During the coordination meeting we have set the most significant objectives. We need to ensure a five-percent growth of economy and to improve the system of strategic planning as much as possible", - Sergey Morozov emphasized. He has also said that by order of the President, until 1 October regions will have the opportunity to take part in development of proposals in order to implement the Decree. All of them will be reviewed by the Council for Strategic Development of the Russian Federation.

The Decree was signed on 7 May 2018. Its aim is to ensure a steady growth of the population in Russia, to increase life expectancy up to 78 years (by 2030 – up to 80 years), to decrease by half the level of poverty and other demographic indicators, as well as to create a strong economy and a comfortable business environment.

In addition, Sergey Morozov has reported that the decree’s provisions will be also considered during the next meeting of the Council for implementation of the state family policy and regional projects in the Ulyanovsk region. "We will also discuss how to improve management structure of the social sphere in general, creation of a separate administrative body for execution of public authorities at the existing department, as well as the plan for improvement of the Human Development Agency and complete reformatting of its work", - the Governor noted.
