A new glamping was created in Sengileevsky District, and a venue for special events will be set near Lake Yulovo in Inza District. It is also planned to build tourism facilities "Stanitsa Troitskosungurskaya" around the pond in Troitsky Sungur village, Novospassky District. Construction of an all-season resort will begin on the site of investment project "TERMI LES", which is located in the suburbs of Ulyanovsk.
The regional center will get new facilities in the historical and cultural park "Zasechnaya Cherta" - an art object "Dusha baikera" ("Soul of the biker") and a monument to the Volga fish "Volga Big 5".
It is planned to open a new route "To the wildlife sanctuary in Undoria Geopark and back to the USSR", to modernize the trail to Kochkar Swamp, and to improve ecological paths "Together with family around the Ulyanovsk region".
According to the regional Agency for Tourism, the regional budget will provide 4.5 million rubles for these projects, while private investments will make more than 5 million rubles.
