Industry Development Center and "Fabrika Processov" Training Center Open in Ulyanovsk Region
The institutions were officially launched by Governor Alexey Russkikh on 14 March.
Opening of the Industry Development Center and "Fabrika Processov" (Process Factory) Training Center, which was established on its basis, was the first step within the thematic week of the Labor Productivity national project. During the event, the head of the region held a working meeting with enterprises participating in the national project.
“Today, one of the priority tasks for all authorities is to support domestic manufacturers and to ensure facilities' uninterrupted operation. This is extremely important in today's world. The Labor Productivity national project is one of the tools that will help us succeed. In difficult economic conditions, business needs to use all available resources for development; and participation in a national project is an excellent opportunity to reduce operating expenses, improve their capacities and increase competitiveness,” said Alexey Russkikh.
ANO "Competence Center for Industrial Development" is tasked to implement the Labor Productivity national project in the Ulyanovsk region. As the result of their work, all performance targets were achieved in 2021: 13 companies joined the project and 236 employees working at their enterprises were trained to use lean technology tools.
The now operating training platform was certified according to standards of the Federal Competence Center in February 2022.
“We imitate real production environment at our Process Factory and transform it into a game that helps managers and employees of various organizations understand how production losses are actually reduced, workplaces are adjusted and profits are significantly increased by the introduction of lean technologies. We invite companies and organizations to our trainings,” announced Igor Ryabikov, Director General of ANO "Competence Center for Industrial Development".
Another focus area of the Labor Productivity national project is the training programme "Performance Leaders". Currently, more than 1,100 enterprises from 71 regions of Russia have joined it. They include twenty heads of six Ulyanovsk companies.
“Today, enterprises are facing an unprecedented situation when they have to change their production and business processes amid economic malaise. The Performance Leaders programme provides new tools to overcome critical situations. They include continuous expert support, a series of anti-crisis seminars, as well as expertise in how to improve business efficiency,” said Ekaterina Grishina, Director of the Productivity Improvement Center of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
