Ulyanovsk Region Delegation at Innoprom International Fair

The event takes place in Tashkent on 25-27 April. The delegation of the region is led by Governor Alexey Russkikh.

He commented, “We have a very packed schedule, which includes a number of business meetings and negotiations with potential investors and representatives of the CIS countries. We expect them to result in new business contacts and promising projects. The delegation includes Ulyanovsk enterprises. I am sure that thanks to the fair's venues, our manufacturers will find access to new markets, as well as improve their position in such countries as Uzbekistan.”
On 25 April, the head of the region took part in the plenary session on "Central Asia: Space of Technological Breakthrough". The event was also attended by government leaders from the Republic of Uzbekistan and Russia responsible for industrial policy, as well as representatives from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and other trade and economic partners of the countries of Central Asia. Strategies and successful examples of work in this area were the main topic of discussion.
Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, emphasized that now, it is necessary to boost trade and economic relations between Russia and Uzbekistan as much as possible. Russian regions are faced with a major task to build new supply chains and international industrial cooperation.
As part of the Russian delegation led by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Alexey Russkikh also examined products presented by participants of the fair, which include representatives of the largest companies, as well as medium and small businesses. This year, Innoprom has more than 200 exhibitors from Russia, Uzbekistan, France, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Germany.
The Ulyanovsk region is represented by the Ulyanovsk Industrial Valves Plant, Dimitrovgrad Metallurgical Plant, DAAZ, as well as such companies as Servis Gas (gas heating equipment), Ptimash (vessel and heat exchange equipment), Avtosvet (autonotive components), Tekhnomash Yomkosti (heat-exchange units and pipes for the oil and gas sector), Ulgran (kitchen sinks made of faux stone) and Elita (home textiles and women's clothing).
The region also presents SIMAZ buses and developments in innovative biosafety systems for personal protective equipment and UltraOZON disinfection devices.
