Ulyanovsk Region: Schools Get New Equipment for Growth Point Centers

The educational venues are established within the federal project "Modern School" under the Education national project.

Currently, schools have received digital laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, as well as educational kits to study multi-component robotic systems and programmable manipulators.

By the new school year, another sixty-one Growth Point Centers (“Tochka Rosta”) will be created in the region. One of them will be opened at Bogdashkinskaya Secondary School in Cherdaklinsky District.

“Thanks to the Growth Point Center, our students will be able to use advanced technologies to learn new things. The premises of our educational institution will also change. With the purchase of new equipment, it will be possible to have special lessons and extracurricular activities, as well as develop and create projects. I am sure that this Center will help us improve the quality of knowledge and that children will learn such skills as forecasting, planning and design,” said Svetlana Antonova, Principal of Bogdashkinskaya Secondary School.

The region is holding a thematic week of the Education National Project from 11 to 22 May, which implementation is overseen by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. It seeks to draw attention to identifying and developing intellectual and creative abilities in children, as well as their interest in research and project activities.
